Heritage music has been my pillar in my christian walk. Both their classical and contemporary music has blessed my soul beyond measure. Soldier on heritage, your reward is in heaven not hear on earth.

I can't imagine that the Heritage Singers ever offended anybody...I grew up on them. My favorite music from them is actually the oldest stuff - from the 70s [and a tad bit from the early 80s]

That particular clip did not really showcase the song...but it certainly did not offend me.

As always, supberb. I have been listening to them since I was a child. They are very inspiring in your walk with the Lord.

Poor Heritage! After all these years, still getting flack for being too contemporary! I remember listening to them at a Michigan campmeeting in the youth tent many moons ago and overhearing a conference official bemoaning the fact (sarcastically) that he had left his dancing shoes at home. Smooth sound of the 80s (or somewhere back there). Nice easy listening Christian music.

This sounds more like a Harry Connick Jr. song. It just has different words.

Too contemporary for my taste.

Sounds like music for a lounge. Still the rhythms and style are adopted from the world. The words may be wonderful, but the medium of the message is not neutral.

I have followed the Heritage Singers over the years. I haven't liked every song, but they generally have a very pleasing style, with a solid emphasis on a relationship with Jesus Christ. More power to them!

Not offended, but it's bland.

Typical Heritage with some more post production sound manipulation than earlier stuff. More bland too.

They never sound like suitable worship music. It is denigrating to the church.

I've never understood how anyone could reasonably complain about the Heritage Singers. Their music is always uplifting.

As a classical music lover -- Bach is typical of what I want to hear in church -- I'm offended by all "pop" evangelical drivel. I'm 46 and have spent my entire life in the church. I was around when the Heritage Singers were Adventism's equivalent of rock stars.Read more...
