It is very beautiful music.

I appreciate the traditional "Adventist" sound [that we did not pioneer]. It was joyful and it uplifted our redeemer and that's excellent. However, I am more attracted to more contemporary sounds with the same content. It's funny to see that their folk sound was criticized when it was first coming out. If some only knew where some of the tunes that we sing our Hymns came from.

Folk sound or not, the harmonization of the parts was beautiful and rich in my opinion.

So old that I'd rather walk out then to here more and more of the same. Voice quality good.

Nothing new... just the same and only "expected" "acceptable" kind of music

The Breath of Life Quartet (back when Walter Arties was part of the group) did this song infinitely better. The King's Heralds do best with songs in their niche. 'Only a Boy Named David' is a classic, and always wonderful to see them perform.

I noticed this is the highest rated. It is great campmeeting music. And they have their place in keeping us in the knowledge of our Lord. It makes me smile that it is the highest rated on this website. Can't get more Adventist than the King's Herald. :)

I've always loved there songs

The same great sound and blend as always! More traditional than contemporary, but always enjoyable.

This is what Christian Music should sound like. It's a sound that you would imagine being in heaven. All the other songs that I listen to remind me of the world I came out of, why would I want to be reminded of my past and call it listening to Christian music. That is pretty dumb. Love quartet music! And KH should make the artists slammed on this survey take heart! If you stick around 70+ years, you'll be seen as a venerated Adventist institution too! My parents were marginalized by some because they listened to -- and admitted to it -- an enjoyed the KH quartet!

These guys have always and ever will be timeless, they can sing in front of any audience

I grew up with the KH, and I am glad they have the name back. They still have that unmistakable sound, but now with a fresh twist. I wish them many more years of service.

I like the sound of a cappella bass voices in harmony. This is one of the best ones on the survey.

I love gospel music when the after Sabbath jokes by various groups stay within bounds. The jokes are where I feel gospel singers get it wrong. My church in Michigan heard the King's Herald group a few times but recently banned them because they failed to prohibit applause.
