Ex-president's new evangelism efforts controversial among Adventists

In 1999 Robert S. Folkenberg resigned as president of the Adventist Church following his business involvement with a Sacramento entrepeneur. But rather than retire quietly, Folkenberg picked himself off the mat to battle what he viewed as spiritual apathy among Adventists in the United States.
